“Climate Change and a Sustainable Global Textile Value Chain”

The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) is an international forum for the world’s textile industries, dedicated to keeping the world-wide membership constantly informed through surveys, studies and publications, participating in the evolution of the industry’s value chain and through the organization of annual conferences as well as publishing considered opinions on future trends and international developments.

Through ITMF the textile industries cooperate at the international level with organizations representing other sectors allied to their industry.


The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) is the international forum of the global textile industry. Its members are companies and associations from the textile and allied industries. The mission of ITMF is to:

  • Connect its members by providing meeting grounds to strengthen relations along the entire textile value chain from fiber to fashion,
  • Inform its members by collecting, analyzing and distributing relevant data and by providing neutral forums for discussions and the exchange of best practices,
  • Represent the textile industry towards governments, intergovernmental organizations (IGOs), and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) by actively participating in discussions about the evolution of the industry.

The three days Conference expects a gathering of more than 300 delegates including textile industry leaders, senior government offcials, and experts from across the world.
