PT Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX), established in 1980 and listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange since 1990, employs over 25,000 (to 33,000) people across its facilities in Java—making it one of Indonesia’s largest garment exporters. The company integrates sustainability within its core strategy through a structured governance system, including the Internal Sustainability Advisory Committee (ISAC) and a Sustainability Task Force (T2K) to operationalize its Triple Bottom Line approach—People, Planet, and Profit.

Pan Brothers’ achievements include its Green Office in Boyolali, certified Platinum by the Green Building Council Indonesia for its environmentally friendly design since 2020. The company has also installed rooftop solar panels in multiple sites: the first phase (1,853 kWp) across five factories starting mid‑2021, projected to reduce about 2.1 million kg CO₂e annually; Phase 2 (~1,221 kWp) continued through 2023, with Phase 3 planned for 2023–24.

Pan Brothers’ commitment extends deeply into its social and environmental programs. In the 2024 TOP CSR Awards they emphasized five flagship CSR initiatives: Zero Waste Lifestyle, Food Resilience, MSIB facilitator training, Disability Empowerment, and SME (UMKM) support . They have made significant strides in inclusion, employing 164 workers with disabilities, training local residents, and implementing sustainable procurement and clean water distribution programs in Boyolali and surrounding communities.

Targeting a 50.4% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2032 (using 2022 baseline) and 30% cut in Scope 3, aligning with Indonesia’s net‑zero goal by 2060. Achieved through solar PV installations, energy-efficient boilers, and electric/hybrid vehicles

Committed to reach at least 31% of total energy from renewables by 2030, including solar PV developments across factory sites for emissions reductions of ~2,565 tonnes CO₂/year(

Implementing Zero Waste Lifestyle by minimizing textile and organic waste, recycling fabric scraps into crafts and eco‑enzyme, and engaging local communities in waste-based micro‑enterprises.

Initiatives include training and hiring persons with disabilities (164 employed), empowering women through skills training and fair employment, and supporting local vocational programs and scholarship initiatives.

Adopting ISO 26000-aligned CSR programs and leveraging a digital supply‑chain management platform (SUSI), ensuring documentation, transparency, and traceability across the sourcing process
