Vinit Jain serves as the Committee Member for Advocacy and Education at Rantai Tekstil Lestari (RTL) and is the Vice President of Design, Product Development, and Sustainability at Busana Apparel Group, one of Indonesia’s largest garment manufacturers. With over 25 years of experience in consultancy and manufacturing, Vinit leads cross-functional teams in design, sourcing, innovation, and circular product development, catering to global brands with a strong focus on sustainability. He began his career in fashion design and has since become a recognized expert in systems thinking, stakeholder management, and strategy development for circular and sustainable business models. Vinit holds a master’s degree in Sustainability from Harvard and has published a peer-reviewed paper in the Journal of Cleaner and Responsible Consumption on hybrid circular-closed-loop systems. Through his role at RTL, he brings deep industry knowledge and a passion for aligning business with natural systems, helping drive the transformation of Indonesia’s textile industry through advocacy, education, and collaborative change.
