Rahayu Budhi Handayani is a member of the Advocacy and Education Committee at Rantai Tekstil Lestari (RTL) and serves as an Assistant Professor in Design at Ciputra University, while currently pursuing her doctoral studies at the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). A dedicated pracademic and researcher, Rahayu is deeply engaged in sustainable and circular fashion, with expertise in systemic design, design anthropology, and entrepreneurship. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges academia, industry, and society to support sustainable development in fashion. She is particularly passionate about mentoring the next generation of designers to build responsible and impactful fashion businesses. Through her active involvement in both academic and community initiatives, Rahayu plays a vital role in shaping the local and global discourse around sustainable fashion.
