Rights & Participation
As an RTL member, you hold the right to participate fully in the organization’s decision-making processes. Membership is valid for a minimum of one year, during which you are encouraged to provide input and propose initiatives—either verbally or in writing—at member meetings.
These meetings, organized by the RTL Board, serve as a platform for collaborative discussion and strategic direction. After two consecutive years of active membership, you may also be nominated for leadership roles within RTL, including positions on the Board of Directors, Advisory Board, or Supervisory Board.
Access to Activities & Capacity Building
Members gain exclusive access to various RTL-led initiatives that promote sustainability in the textile and fashion sector. This includes attending programs, workshops, and events, either for free or at discounted rates depending on the event terms. RTL also provides its members with valuable development opportunities such as training, mentorship, and select business services.
Members may be invited to speak at RTL events or contribute to collaborative campaigns, helping expand their impact across the ecosystem. Additionally, for certain events or services, RTL offers special discounts or priority access, with details communicated in advance.
Branding & Visibility
Membership in RTL also comes with visibility benefits. Members receive an official certificate valid for one year, affirming their commitment to sustainable practices. RTL actively promotes its members through public-facing channels such as websites, newsletters, and social media campaigns.
With prior approval, member logos may be displayed on the RTL website and other promotional materials. Furthermore, RTL supports its members’ initiatives by amplifying relevant news, campaigns, and success stories through its communication platforms—helping members gain broader recognition for their sustainability efforts.
Financial Benefits & Collaboration Potential
RTL encourages collaboration and innovation by offering business matchmaking and networking opportunities to its members. In the first year, there is no membership fee, allowing organizations and individuals to explore benefits without financial barriers.
Members are invited to join the broader RTL community, where they can exchange ideas and collaborate with actors across the value chain—both within Indonesia and internationally. RTL also facilitates introductions and cross-sector partnerships to help drive innovation and systemic change. However, RTL does not assume responsibility for any risks that may arise from such matchmaking before, during, or after the collaboration process.
