Sustainable Dyeing Technology by
Prof. Ida Nuramdhani., PhD.
An inspiring educator and researcher blazing a path from traditional dyeing techniques to the forefront of smart textile innovation. Whether in the classroom or the lab, her work connects local resources with global technology to create sustainable, intelligent solutions in the textile field.
In response to today’s industry pressing challenge and a growing global demand for sustainable products, pioneering research in Indonesia is focusing on transformative technologies: waterless supercritical carbon dioxide (sc-CO2) dyeing and the development of nano-sized natural dyes. This dual approach aims to revolutionize the industry, reduce its ecological footprint, and enhance Indonesia’s competitive edge in the global market.

Experiences
That Speak for Themselves
I gained valuable learning experience by participating in RTL’s initiatives with its partners. These initiatives introduced new ideas to accelerate the implementation of circular supply chains in Indonesia’s textile industry.

Sustainability is one important key to be achieved and implemented in Indonesian textile industry to be a key player in the global industry. RTL with its vision and green ambition could be the key partner to provide knowledge, awareness and solution to the goal of sustainability.
