Asosiasi Garmen dan Tekstil Indonesia

Association

Asosiasi Garment dan Tekstil Indonesia (AGTI) is a national industry association that brings together garment and textile stakeholders to strengthen Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global market. Established in Jakarta in October 2025, AGTI serves as a collaborative platform connecting businesses, government institutions, and strategic partners to build an innovative, resilient, and sustainable textile ecosystem.

As a member of Rantai Tekstil Lestari (RTL), AGTI contributes strong industry perspectives to multi-stakeholder discussions on sustainability, circularity, and responsible supply chains. The association plays a key role in facilitating communication, coordination, and advocacy across the textile value chain — from raw materials to garment production — while promoting industry transformation through innovation, digitalization, and the adoption of sustainability standards.

AGTI’s strategic role includes policy advocacy, capacity-building initiatives, and strengthening collaboration among industry actors to improve national competitiveness. Through its extensive network of members spanning various sectors — including processing, apparel manufacturing, machinery, SMEs, and research institutions — AGTI supports knowledge exchange and industry alignment toward long-term sustainable growth.

Within RTL’s ecosystem, AGTI helps bridge industry needs with sustainability initiatives by fostering dialogue between businesses, policymakers, and civil society. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing Indonesia’s textile sector through inclusive partnerships, innovation, and responsible industrial development.
