chain-wide commitment

Sustainability
as a Central Stage

Sustainability is a collective responsibility Hollit share throughout the supply chain. Hollit believes that sustainability must permeate every aspect of the operations. They are committed to positively impacting the environment and the local community through each action they take, whether it is regarding supply chain, emissions, material sourcing, communication, or waste management.

Hollit International reflects how Indonesia’s apparel production can integrate innovation, circular design, and local empowerment—realizing global impact through responsible manufacturing rooted in local strengths.

Product circularity begins as early as the product design stage. It is their commitment to promote the creation of circular products by providing access to circular materials and design concepts, along with responsible production waste management.

It is essential that sustainability is reflected in every aspect and partnership throughout the supply chain. Hollit International upholds high standards of human rights, workforce welfare, and workplace safety in its facilities and among its partners.

Hollit International is committed to making a difference by hosting educational events such as UDCA (2022) and ICFI (2023), where they offer a series of lectures focused on circular fashion, provide industrial fabric waste to universities, and create a circular fashion competition. They take their commitment further by partnering with industry stakeholders, including Rantai Tekstil Lestari, to contribute to shaping a circular apparel industry in Indonesia.

Hollit International reduces carbon footprint and promotes Kapok, an Indonesian natural fibre, through launching a Kapok Plantation project in South Sumatra. This project reflects their commitment to sustainability, helping local communities, and promoting innovation in the apparel industry.

Hollit is aware that the circular economy still needs time to mature, and therefore, limitations are inevitable. It is their commitment to embrace and reflect both the benefits and the limitations of the current best available practices through their communications.
