Collaboration
is Our DNA
At Rantai Tekstil Lestari (RTL), we work across sectors to create a more sustainable, inclusive, and circular textile ecosystem in Indonesia. Our efforts span long-term partnerships, collaborative engagements, and independent initiatives that support knowledge exchange, policy advocacy, and innovation in sustainable fashion.
Long-term Collaborations Built on Shared Vision
We forge formal, long-term partnerships with institutions, businesses, government bodies, and civil society organizations to align sustainability goals. These partnerships are often sealed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and focus on shared projects such as curriculum development, research, capacity-building, and system-wide innovation.

Short-term Engagements That Spark Change
We actively participate in invited collaborations as guest speakers, panelists, moderators, or workshop facilitators. While typically short-term, these actions allow RTL to connect with wider audiences, share insights, and support aligned movements. Collaborative actions may emerge independently or as part of our partnerships or RTL-led programs.

Driving the Movement from Within
We also design and lead our own initiatives to advance sustainable textile practices. These include multi-stakeholder programs, educational campaigns, community engagement, and grassroots interventions. As the host, RTL sets the agenda, curates the experience, and measures the impact.
A Fluid Ecosystem
of Collaboration
Each of these pillars—partnerships, collaborations, and initiatives—are not siloed. Many of our collaborative actions grow into strategic partnerships, while some RTL-led initiatives invite external experts as speakers or partners. This fluid and adaptive approach is what allows RTL to remain responsive, inclusive, and impactful.
