Rantai Tekstil Lestari (RTL) doesn’t just support sustainability from the sidelines—we lead the movement. Through our RTL-led initiatives, we design and implement programs that address the root causes of unsustainable practices, promote collaboration, and empower communities across the textile value chain.
Each initiative is thoughtfully curated by RTL, bringing together diverse stakeholders—from grassroots communities and youth leaders to industry professionals and policymakers—to co-create solutions for a more just, circular, and low-impact textile industry in Indonesia.

These are not invitations or side projects—RTL takes the lead in identifying key challenges, designing interventions, and hosting the space for inclusive participation. We act as the initiator, curator, and convener.

From industry professionals and policymakers to students, informal workers, and community leaders—our initiatives bring together voices that are often siloed. This diversity ensures each program reflects the full complexity of Indonesia’s textile ecosystem.
Every initiative is locally grounded, yet forward-looking.
We design programs with deep understanding of local realities—be it textile waste landscape, students’ needs, or small brands’ struggles. At the same time, we adapt as the context evolves.
Workshops and forums are a start. But transformation needs continuity.
Whether through knowledge products, community tools, or mentorship, RTL initiatives aim for sustained outcomes. We follow up, refine, and learn from what works—and what doesn’t.
